The Oconomowoc Area School District (OASD) Board of Education has selected three candidates to participate in final interviews for the position of OASD Superintendent. Last week, the school board held interviews with six semi-finalist candidates and from that group selected three finalists.
Dr. Jeridon Clark
Assistant Superintendent of Educational Services
Mequon Thiensville School District
Dr. Clark currently serves as the assistant superintendent of educational services in the Mequon-Thiensville School District (MTSD). Prior to his current role, he also served as the Executive Director of Organizational Alignment and Digital Learning in MTSD and Assistant Principal/Athletic Director at New Berlin West Middle/High School. He began his educational career as a math and computer science teacher at Homestead High School in MTSD.
Dr. Joe Koch
Deputy Superintendent
School District of Waukesha
Dr. Koch is currently serving as the Deputy Superintendent in the School District of Waukesha. Dr. Koch has twenty years of experience in education, serving as a special education teacher, assistant principal, and director of pupil services.
Dr. Mike Sereno
Assistant Superintendent for Teaching & Learning
Elmbrook Schools
Dr. Sereno has served the School District of Elmbrook in a variety of leadership roles over the past 19 years, most recently as the Assistant Superintendent for Teaching and Learning. Prior to joining Elmbrook Schools, Dr. Sereno served as an educator in both the Kettle Moraine and Waukesha school districts.
Each candidate will participate in a full day of interviews and school visits this week, including a panel interview attended by a variety of OASD staff, administrators, and community members.
The OASD School Board hopes to make a final selection for the Superintendent position later this week. An announcement of the new OASD Superintendent will be made once the candidate has formally accepted the position.
